Roxor Games is starting production on its next arcade title and is looking for experienced Torque developers for contract work. No industry experience is required, demo-able skills within the Torque engine is. Contractors will required to work remotely and must be able to self manage. Contractors will be paid based on completion of assigned assets.
Project Overview
"R Racer" (development name) is an arcade style racing game designed for use in sit-down style cabinets. Racing physics will be geared more towards "arcade" than "simulation", with RPG elements. Style influences are primarily anime and will be set sometime in the near future.

Contractors Needed:

Level Builders:
Applicants must be experienced in creating large environments with in the Torque engine, previous racing track design a plus. Experience playing arcade style racers and a love for racing games in general will be required as well.

3d Modeler:
Applicant must be experienced in creating low to mid poly vehicles and importing them into the Torque engine. Additional tasks of creating world objects and 3d assets will be needed.

GUI Artist:
Applicants should be experience creating GUI elements and importing them into the Torque engine. Additionally, you must be able to place GUI elements with the Torque scripting tools as necessary. 2D concept art and print layout skills are a plus.

2D Concept Artist:
Applicant must be skilled in creating color and B&W images of vehicles, characters and cityscapes for translation into 3D. Anime design influences will be heavy, vivid imagination will be a plus!

Mod Scripters:
Applicant must be experienced with the Torque scripting system and have very good understanding of racing systems. Applicant will primarily work on "game logic" with in the scripting system. C/C++ programming is a plus.
