Blog post
Just a quick update this week. You can find out more info and purchase the Skeleton PackSkeleton Pack[/url] here.
The work continues, most importantly on the Max source animations. There are a lot of little tweaks required using Multi-res and some workarounds were required because of some niggly issues with the Max 6,7,8 DTS exporter especially when dealing with transparency, most notably the rib cage. It had many unclosed edges, which work well on Lw2DTS exporter but not the Max one. Nevertheless, the Skeleton Pack wants to exist in Max format!!!!!!
Also I forgot to mention last time, there are several static poses with severed limbs - mid joint as if sliced off by a sword.
Progress list...
- 3dsMax source animation - 80%
- Several Static Poses - 100%
- Skeleton pieces - 100%
- A new mission - 20%
- A special surprise! - 15%
More copies were sold so thanks to everyone who has supported the pack so far. The pics below are the biped rigged over the skeleton in Max and an example of the weight mapping. The Skeleton can be pulled, pushed, tweaked, nipped and tucked in a variety of extreme poses and not break the rigg as seen below. More soon!!!
