Looks great! I really like the 2nd pic.

Nice stuff! I should try and make a skeleton some day :)

Andy Hawkins   (Jul 16, 2006 at 14:21 GMT)
@Peter - the 2nd pic is a Star Wars ref. The pose is the same as the corpse of Uncle Owen (or maybe Aunt Barroo - difficult to tell male from female) when Luke heads back home for the last time on Tatooine. Pic number one is posed like the other (either Aunt Barroo or Uncle Owen). I'm inclined to think Uncle Owen exited the hut first, put up a fight and ended up drapped over the moisture vapourator parts outside :)

Hi Andy,

Your last screenshot shows hitboxes.
Can you tell us anything more about that? Does your content pack touch the code?

@ Stefan
Pretty sure those are just collision meshes for a static DTS object.

I've been eyeing this since it came out. Seeing all the work you've put into it post-release has sold me. I'm downloading it now, and I'm looking forward to playing with it.

@Stefan - Ramen is correct, the boxes are collision meshes so when you put an inanimate skeleton like that in your scene, you can walk over bits of it, rockets hit it, thrown object bump into it - that sort of thing.

@Tim and Hans - thanks guys for buying the pack! You get the extra stuff at the end of this month for FREE!!!

For the next pack I'm staying with the monster theme - more news soon.

This is great work your commitment to post-release work, great wish more did this. Shows your aim to quality and customer satisfaction I think :-).

I'm extremely happy!

Andy Hawkins   (Jul 17, 2006 at 08:48 GMT)
@Edward - thanks for your kind words of praise. I will always do my best on every pack, resource or game I release for Torque. It's a great community to be a part of and I enjoy contributing to it immensely.

Andy Hawkins   (Jul 17, 2006 at 10:51 GMT)
@Stefan - when you say "touch the code" I assume you mean are there any scripts included in the pack?

Well yes there are!!!

- Melee script.
- Sword script.
- Particle script.
- Mp5 script.

Plus there's videos and pdf's on how do everything else. What a bargain hey???? Actually all future packs will have this level of support as well.

Sabrecyd   (Jul 17, 2006 at 16:16 GMT)
I totally agree with Edward.

If there's a choice between 2 packs and I can only get 1 or they're similar and I only need 1 I'll certainly lean towards your work. It is too bad not all packs get this kind of care.

I did buy this pack btw :)

Oh yeah, any thoughts about including skeleton parts? I know people can just rip apart the model for that but there might be some open sides to close up first I'm not sure. Anyway, just a thought.

Keep up the great work!

Andy Hawkins   (Jul 17, 2006 at 23:35 GMT)
@Sabrecyd - Thanks for buying my pack! Much appreciated :) And YES there are pieces of skeleton in upgrade pack - which you get FREE!!! of course. These have already been completed.

Cool! I see that's listed right at the top of this blog. Not sure how I missed that.
