I've been ticking things over on my PHP/mySQL/Apache scripts, in whatever free time I've had. I started a new website, which uses these scripts, and I'm mulling over getting a couple of people to help me add content. It's a community Wiki-like site, which looks to answer the questions you always hear!! Like "which 3D engine should I use?" and so on. It's more an experiment as I think this site would be useful, but it needs a lot more work before it's really useful.

The site is currently unnamed, and the theme is unfinished, but I'm working on it!

Visit the new site - engine.stodge.net

The development site for the scripts is - pixellent.stodge.net

Neat idea Mike. Can I get you to add Destiny3D in there? Not sure if it would belong under open source or Commercial, though we personally would consider it open source. To get Destiny3D you dont' have to buy the engine but you do have to become a member of the developer site which costs a couple bucks. Up to you how you list it, your site.

I'll add it, I could put an entry on the Commercial page, linking to the main Destiny3D page.

Cheers

Edit:

On second thought, it's commercial only due to the fee.

I forgot to say that you can register for an account, but by default you can't edit or create wiki pages. I'm hoping that people working on the engines can fill in some of the blanks for me.

My company also mantains Genesis3D. We took over control of it a few years ago, so i'll see about getting some information in there for you.

Cool thanks; I gave you permission to create and edit Wiki pages.

Lol well since I don't know anything about this Wikki stuff, let's hope I don't destroy your website.

It's pretty easy I hope. Check the Help page and edit other pages for examples. The beauty is that I can fix any mistakes.
