Mythic Blades has gone from Beta to Release Candidates.
Beta test is over. We're still testing the release candidate.

Nick Palmer provided 3 excellent tracks on a very short schedule. I will be using his talents again if possible, which is probably the best recommendation I can give.

Pablo Alonso did a fantastic job testing the game and not only stepped up to the challenge but went way beyond the call of duty. He has been a superb tester and Mythic Blades is better for it. We are conspiring on a project of his.

I'd also like to thank Wahoo Studios for providing an excellent Maxscript.

There are new screenshots up at Cartel Games of the new Minotaur character. Minotaur vs Oddyseus

Thats just a straight screenshot. It does look much better at 1600x1200 and in motion.

Okay this seems like just a big thank you to a lot of people but how many games do you finish per year? I appreciate all the enthusiasm these great people have brought to Mythic Blades.

Congrats on getting to release candidate, it's looking amazing, I'm really amazed of how it's been progressing, keep up the great work.

Very interesting! A fighting game on the PC fills a huge niche - not to mention on mac and linux!

It was a pleasure to work with Eric-- he had a very clear idea in mind what he wanted for underscoring, so it was not difficult to make adjustments and produce what he needed. I've helped test the game and it is addicting, not to mention all the great art work and modelling. Good stuff!

Looking great! Went through all the screens and they look nice and polished. The Minotaur character especially adds a lot in breaking up the monotony of all the humans and adds to the "show me something new" value.

@Clint -Try it now. Just a copy and paste error. Thanks for pointing that out.

@Joshua -Mythic Blades is based on a battle of Ares' Monsters vs Zeus' Heros. Almost half of the characters are a monster of some sort. You haven't seen the best looking models as they are secret. Mythic Blades comes with 12 playable characters. 7 are available at the start while 5 can be unlocked later in the Shop.
