Medieval FPS focusing on open and continuous melee combat. Based in a small town with a nearby Noble's keep, players rove the grounds looking for players of a different "house" to harm. The keep sits atop a cliff, accessable from two sides, one for formal entry, and the other for day to day use, usually open due to the market tents and merchents right outside. Down the river a ways is a small village, complete with tavern, town hall, houses, and a modest dock. Around the bend a bit is a large patch of farmland, and if the road is continued, snaking around part of the river and back towards the keep, a water powered grainery can be seen.
Currently my best friend and I are working on this ambitious melee game. We want to include a system of factions, or "houses", which will allow players to join teams and hunt for others. Horses are currently only form of mount planned. NPC merchents are planned who will sell various weapons, armors, animals, and items. I am planning on making a server-side save system where players can keep up with their items every time they log in. A coin system is also in the works, although I'm not sure if I will put in a banking system or make the players hunt with all their wealth on them, waiting to be taken upon death! When myself and my animator gain more experiance, we are planning on evolving this towards morpg, nothing massive however. When we get more progress done, I will start a website to post images and render videos on. We already have a few stunning render videos, but my animator wont allow me to show them due to his unhappiness with the current textures.

I know another guy who is just about finished on a rather large content pack ' Old World Content Pack'. He has been making this suitable for torque, check it out - I think he has around 200 map/model objects for about $50. I dont know all the details, so email him at: owcp@texelmonkey.co.uk

Best wishes on the game J Mills... I can personally vouch for the weapons pack mentioned, very high quality, especially for the price.

All sounds good. So far, my animator has turned down my thoughts on buying any third party packs for now, he wants to model the stuff himself. As far as videos go, I am looking around for a good cheap host. I have $11 in my checking acct and thats what I would use to sign up so...

Bills = a B*tch when your my age (17)

Anyway, hit me up with hosts you guys use if you wouldnt mind.
