I'm back. After seven weeks of intense work learning to understand the business aspects of my motorcycle shop, I'm now able to get back to GarageGames business. I will still be splitting some time between the two for the next couple of months, but the majority of my time will be here in the Garage. If you need me on IM, my hours are about 6AM to 12 or 1PM Pacific Time.
After 20 years of developing games and working in the cyber world, I have to say that it is VERY different out in the "real" world. This experience really makes me appreciate my partners here at GarageGames, the kind of work we do, and the indie development community.

But, the biggest difference is this: there is only one GarageGames in the entire world. There are millions of "real" companies. It has been a long pull to get GG to where we are, but I think we are nearing the tipping point that will make it all worth while and allow us to do REALLY interesting things.

I'm happy to be back. Now we are deep in getting the Torque Demo out (finally) and making preparations for IndieGamesCon. Feels good!
