Version 2 of the gameSpace/trueSpace DTS exporter is released into the wild...

Mike Jarosch and I have released version 2.0 of the gameSpace/trueSpace DTS exporter and it is now available from the resources section of the Garage Games website.

Version 2 is a complete re-write of the exporter using the DTS SDK plus and has support for the entire DTS feature set. Get your copy here

The installer also includes detailed documentation on how to use the exporter as well as alot of general DTS knowledge collected from various GG resources. Preview the docs here.

One thing worth noteing is that the workflow process in this version has changed drastically compared to the first version and it now has a work flow very near that of the Max and Maya exporters. Read the docs before using it and you'll be far better off. :)

The set of sample files will be available for download in the next few days.

Matt, this is one fantastic piece of work. Congratulations to you and Mike for finishing it up and kudos on the documentation too, which goes into as much detail on many of Torque's idiocyncracies as it does the plugin itself. :)

Many thanks!

Hi Matt,

Very cool!

How are you guys doing? I haven't talked with you in a while - are you heading to IGC?

Btw: I love your docs

Hey John,

Yeah, Mike and I will be at IGC this year, should be a blast! Plus, we have a project in the works now so we're pretty busy.

My goal with the docs was to cover everything in some kind of organized fashion in order to keep the "help me" emails to a minimum. ;o)

Love the updated Lighting pack BTW, we've already added it into to our code base. Thanks for the great new tools!
