Labour Of Love
Lately my schedule has opened up a teeny bit here and there (stress the teeny bit) inbetween projects and just general stuff to do. So I've taken the opportunity to perform a bit of a labour of love; a low poly model of a motorbike. I'm a biker myself so its kind of a wonder I've never this before :)
So why is this worthy of a .plan?
Well when this motorbike was shown to Robert Brower (fellow De-Railed member) he got all excited (like a little girl :P muhahaha) and immediantly decided to proceed on work for a motorbike pack as our next side-project (along with our new flight model in Snachurz, which is neat btw)
Pack Contents
The Pack will not only feature a couple of fully textured bikes it will also include an entirely new vehicle class for that of a motorbike, any suggestions as to special features to be included are more then welcome. We are also considering the inclusion of animated lights and sounds etc (police car style) in this pack. And alas yes, it wont go for free.
The Bike
And finally the first bike. Its very much a work in-progress, but crits are welcome. I'm trying to keep it reasonably generic so as to not trip up on any copyrighted designs etc. Click for larger view.

EDIT: roughly around 1850 polys, but thats without any optimisation yet.

I'm sure if you asked Triumph, they would be quite happy to let you 'advertise' for them, assuming you want to copy a real bike, unlike those circa 1900 Hardley Drivables :-)
If you go with Triumphs, I'll buy it.

The problem with going after a company and asking you to "advertise" for them is that if they did give permission they likely would only give away permission to me not simply for a content pack... also its more fun trying something of your own :)
About the Triumphs, I've never been a huge fan of them (despite being a cruiser fan - and thats where they make the headlines imo) but the Rocket III is just hilarious. I saw one in Matlock Bath (big bike meet place in East Midlands of England) and it was actually so OTT it was ugly. Made a damn sweet purr (more of a roar admitedly) though.

seriously though, it looks pretty hot for only 1850 polys. can't wait to see it optimized/textured

Suggestions:
- Gears
- Wheelies as found in GTA (For fun)
- Skidmarks when breaking (Just because it's not standard with the vehicles)
use it... don't use it... :-)

triumphs?.. daytona is nice :P (though my dad did buy a modern retro looking one which name escapes me, and he had to trade it in within a year as the build quality was shocking.. needless to say, he disnt go for another triumph..)
