What? ... the price ? it's $15 USD!

Dungeon Pack Update
The Dungeon Pack now contains more file formats. The hard part was to convert all the interiors in a more classic 3D format. Thank you very much to Matt Fairfax for his .map to .3ds converter, and to David Blake who pointed me the ressource!

So each elements of the Dungeon Pack (including interiors) now exist in .x, .lwo and .obj!
If you already bought the Dungeon Pack, this update if free, and for the others ... the price is the same : $35 USD. More info at www.frogames.net.

Next ?
Our store is going to grow, and the next art content pack will be the RTS Buildings Pack:Humans, based on my previous work. And then, I plan to finish a big NPC pack I started last year. a very big one ...

I promise, my next .plan will be a non Frogames website related one ;)

So, who is first to create a Warcraft-clone? ;) Really nice work! Would buy if i was working with an RTS, but i have other plans for the moment...

Youre colour selection is just brilliant christophe.

I just wish people actually considered this style of game more often. It seems that the realism monkies have taken over the asylum!

Keep at the old-school colours!

Phil.

A bit too fantasy eswue to use in my game but I may pick it up anyway to know that I have such high quality art in my collection.

I don't know, you might want to rework a lot of your pack. Your orc icon is almost identical to the one used by Games Workshop. You can see an image on a banner here-

... on a banner pole here-
http://us.games-workshop.com/games/40k/orks/catalog/nobz.htm

... and you can see it really clearly in these cards they made to go with their game-

(more clear pics in the linked PDF on that page)

GW is known to be very strong on protecting their Copyrights and Trademark rights. It would be a shame for some poor new indie group to have to deal with GW legal because they are using your content pack.

The orc on the flag comes from old sketches I made while surfing on the web ... good lesson : never trust a drawing, even your own drawings.
I'm going to update the pack as soon as I have time to do it.

Thank you Rob!

nice! I like the flag textures especially, very fun-looking

Josiah Wang   (Feb 21, 2006 at 21:36 GMT)
Sweetness! Just curious, what is this style of art called?

Canon   (Feb 22, 2006 at 00:50 GMT)
@Josiah
? don't know ... cartoon? I'm french, and I have a lack of english vocabulary. Perhaps a native artist can help us ? Anyone ?

Treb Connell (formerlyMasterTreb   (Feb 22, 2006 at 01:11 GMT)
probably cartoon and it looks a lot like the cel shading used in windwaker.

Josiah Wang   (Feb 22, 2006 at 01:16 GMT)
nah, cel shading refers to the way it gets rendered.

hrm, i mean like, oversizing certain proportions of any object. like see how the stick is a lot bigger than how it's supposed to be?

in any case, nice work!

Geom   (Feb 22, 2006 at 19:37 GMT)
Any plans for a science-fiction themed RTS pack? I might be able to use something like that for my own game.

(edit) btw really like your RTS:Humans work on your website too!

I don't have plans for a Sci-Fi pack for now. May be in the futur :)

Do you hand paint your textures in photoshop, because it is a very cool style which I would like to learn how to replicate.

Canon   (Feb 24, 2006 at 17:08 GMT)
Yes, it's mostly a hand work, but I also use photos as base when I need a particular effect.
