My first Content Pack
My first Content Pack

Josh William is very persuasive :)
My very first content pack will be based from the work I made for the TLK of John Kabus, and it will allow you to build dungeons.

Of course it contains corridors and rooms, but also a lot of other elements :
- 20 DTS
- 28 Interiors
- some particles effects
- some ground/water/lava textures
- a skybox with clouds
- a demo mission

Here are some screenshots of the outdoor part of the demo :

Indoor part screenshots :

Each Interior comes with a special variation, without ceiling, for top-view games :

My second Content Pack
My second content pack will be a RTS content pack. I plan some orcs buildings, some human buildings (created from models I made previously), and some environmental elements (trees, rocks, a bridge, some ground textures...)

Some early screenshots of 3 orcs buildings :

I don't know when these packs will be released, because the truth is that I always have more ideas for content packs than time to work on it :)

Canon - I look forward to your plans just so I can stare at the pictures. Very cool ! Are you working on any games at the moment ? Your stuff deserves to be immortalized in a release somewhere...

Hi Christophe, awesome work as always. :) I'm glad to see your hard work on the TLK demo turn into a content pack, and I really like the RTS content pack you're working on.

I'm using Christophe's content in the TLK demo and it's extremely easy to work with, the individual pieces easily work together and the artwork is very consistent and pleasing (as you can see from the screenshots).

Great work!

Kim Ball   (Oct 18, 2005 at 18:37 GMT)
Have you been eavesdropping on my conversations with myself again? I was just admiring your art on the demo screenshots, wondering how I could ever afford something like it. Yet another reason to I ratchet up my learning curve!

Thank you all for your comments!

@ Adam Beaumont : Yes! I'm working on Oloo! with Mathieu and on Air Ace with Phil, and i have several other propositions ...

@ Randy "Vashner" Anthony : Excatly, the demo will show how to build a level with the content pack

Great job Canon, can you consider also to add some 'guy' model ;)

Canon   (Oct 19, 2005 at 23:32 GMT)
Hi Frank!

No characters models at the moment, but probably one character pack next year.

Charles Doty   (Oct 21, 2005 at 16:42 GMT)
What about putting out smaller mini packs?

Eli Curtz   (Nov 04, 2005 at 20:15 GMT)
Will your packs include the "source" files for the 3d objects? I love the style, but my current project isn't Torque based (it's not for a supported platform.)

Canon   (Nov 04, 2005 at 23:47 GMT)
Eli,

Yes, for each object, a .max and a .3ds file is include in the pack. And each Interior comes with a universal .map file.
