little MiniOne Racing promotion brief
little MiniOne Racing promotion brief
These is a lot of work to prepare a game promotion. We worked two weeks to find contacts, prepare mails, make the trailer, update our website...
Nicolas Quijano made a great work for us. He translated all mails texts in a good english language. I think it is very important if you want to etablish a publisher or a press contact.
I dont have a lot of experience, but i can advise all indies to take time for promotion. Benefits are real :
- more than 75 websites made a "news" about MiniOne Racing (gamespress.com, insidemacgames.com, bluesnews.com, gamespot.com, ign.com, gamezone.com, gamespy.com, gamershell.com, 3dgamers.com...)
- I dont have all the logs, but there was several thousands of downloads for the trailer and connections at our website
- I receided 50 mails (in three days) from early "fans", publishers, producers, game agents ... and the Apple Game Marketing Manager send us helpfull informations for our futur promotion and publishing.
But the promotion is just the first step. MiniOne Racing now have to find a publisher.
