The CS:Warriors an Commoners for Early Adopters is out!

The CS:Warriors an Commoners is a NPC ressource for RPG, RTS and MMOG, designed for TGE and RTS Starter Kit.
It contains more than 800 files (characters, textures, objects, animations, source files...), and it allows thousands combinations to create your own Non Player Characters.

Be sure to check out the product page here, and the reference page here.

The number of Early Adopter licences are going to be limited, so don't miss the oportunity to acquire the pack half the price of the final release. Feel free to contact us if you're interested in our pack for prototyping, even if Early Adopters licences are closed.

So, here is our plan for this pack.
We have to work closely with users to define the remaining content, packaging, documentation, tutorials ... So, next week, we will open several private forums for early adopters, to discuss bugs and to receive suggessions and comments.
A polished final release is expected next Fall. It's a big project, so don't be surprised if it's delayed.

Last month, I moved to a new home. It's great, that's ok ... but living without Internet is a terrific experience! I hope to recover a solid connection quickly.

Damn you Christophe, your timing is weird. Nauris and I were just talking last night about reviving an old game we were working on a few years back. This would be perfect placeholder and now I am kinda annoyed that I'm not going to have time for it due to the plethora of other things that need to be finished first :(

Nice work, as always ;)

Thank you all for your comments!

This pack is a real success and I can't wait to start working with all the pack owners to make it the more polished as I can.

@Andy Hawkins
I started to work on this pack at the end of 2005. It's a long run, and there is a lot of remaining work!

@Stephan (viKKing) Bondier
Yes, the first Frogames sci-fi pack is planed to be release at March or April.

Will the new packs be an "update" to my CS:Warriors an Commoners pack or stand alone packs like CS:Warriors an Commoners.

Look forward to them.

15 minutes to install, and the way I generate my NPC's in game it was a perfect fit...

@jydog
Early Adopters will receive a full licence of the CS:Warriors and Commoners.
But new packs (like a women pack or magic-users pack) will be separated products and are not include.

@Graham
Fantastic!

Very good work canon.

What a pack!!!! The result is the reflect of the time Christophe worked on this pack. And the number of sales in one day is the reflect of a real need of game developers for packs with lots of elements. Congratulations.

Frank Carney   (Feb 22, 2007 at 05:25 GMT)
Women? Good pack, but no women. For an RPG I would like to see a full spread of characters from men, women, children.

Canon   (Feb 22, 2007 at 15:47 GMT)
Frank, women are planed in the next CS pack.

Tank Dork   (Feb 23, 2007 at 17:23 GMT)
Canon are there any plans to support other file types besides just max in the future?

Canon   (Feb 24, 2007 at 12:50 GMT)
@Tank,
We are going to support as many file formats as we can. We don't yet take decision about this, and I think we are not going to think seriously about it before next Summer.
All the GG community will be informed.

Kevin McLaughlin   (Feb 25, 2007 at 10:45 GMT)
Concur that some more easily usable format would be nice... MAX is hard to import into most modeling software, and indie budgets often preclude 3DS Max licences... ;)

Joseph Helm   (Mar 12, 2007 at 09:14 GMT)
wow... thats one hell of a pack... congrats!
