New Game for Torque possibly. Bases on Pirates.
After thinking about it pirates really do rock. So I decieded to make a pirate game.
Objective: You Have Mulitple Towns, Ports, Caves, on map. One City. By either capturing or going into the town and killing everything in it your team gets gold. If you deciede to capture the town while for some time your overall gain of gold from town is lower, as long as you hold it you get a steady increase in gold. This is a smart thing to do if the town or city has a good defense.
Movement: Maps would be quite large so at your base you can select a boat to buy. The more money the better the boat. The boat has 1 driver and the rest of the people are forced to walk around on the boat. Most of the map will be dominated by water.
Restrictions: Going out of mission bounds gives you 10 seconds to turn around or you die. Going into enemy base will instantly kill you (to stop spawn killing)
If you capture a town gold comes in like this:
1 City > 1 Town > 1 Port > 1 Cave
Even if one team has the main city and the other team has all caves and ports it really doesnt matter as amount of gold flow would be about the same just more things to protect.
The harder it is to capture a place the more gold flow your team gets.
If I were to start this then the first thing I would do is work on map and code. I would be looking for a 3d modeller and a texture artist and a webmaster who would be willing to spend some time on this. I feel this project wouldnt be to hard content wise, just alot of coding. If your intrested in starting the project contact me at Zephyr070486@aol.com or just leave a post here :)
