I'm currently working (at the same time) on getting the website done, finishing up the help file, cleaning up the code, fully implementing the API, and starting to prepare for the resource section of the website.

Heh, lots of work. Ouch.

Here's the web design as it is right now:

OK, bedtime. Tomorrow's a big day.

Great and appreciated work Sam. Looking at the banner and slogan one won't think it's a free product.

Sam Bacsa   (Sep 21, 2005 at 10:06 GMT)
Except it says "A Free TorqueScript Development Environment" :D

Don't worry, I'll have free plastered all over the site. It'll be hard to miss. That one's just a mockup in HTML format. I've yet to actually finalize the rest of the pages or the core images.

Heh. The guy in the banner looks like the doc in FireFly. :p

Nice job so far. Very professional look all round. :)

Very nice Sam, what you've done with this program is just amazing, don't know how I lived without it.

Looks awesome sam, one problem though, do a google serach on the word Codeweaver. There are already a huge host of programs and sites called codeweaver or code weaver. Torquedev was a name I could use to easily find the site. I couldn't find it too easily just typing in codeweaver, just a thought.

Sam, were I wearing a hat right now, it would be off to you. I saw your program in action not too long ago, and I must say, it is totally awesome. Until this point, I was trying to hack through TorqueScript in VisualStudio.net. But now with this, I am sure that my development time will be cut down. Thanks a ton

Excellent and incredibly professional. A lot of people could learn mountains from you on how to make (and more importantly release) a professional level product.

I've been reading all your plans about this since the beginning, and all I can say is:

Dude, you freaking rule.

Edit: oh yeah, and whenever I see you saluting, it always makes me want to salute you back. :)

TorqueWeaver? TorqueForge? TorqueBuilder? TorqueFoundry? TorquePad? TorqueShop? ...hmm... TorqueKickassEditor? =)

Now that's professional. You are setting a new bar here, for sure.

Thanks guys for the wonderful comments. I'm happy to see that I'm doing something that everyone can take advantage of to ease their development process.

I'm hoping to have delta 6 out sometime this week. The site will probably go up earlier to prepare for the release.

If, in the meantime, you've found any bugs, I encourage you to post them on the bugtracker here. Whatever's included in there will (hopefully) be resolved in delta 6.

TorqueWrench baby, TorqueWrench!

...wait, maybe I should copyright that...

Matthew Langley   (Sep 23, 2005 at 20:28 GMT)
Lol well after talking with you on IRC I tried out TorqueDev and was extremeley impressed (or maybe its Codeweaver now... or TorqueWrench - pending lawsuits with Stephen)... lol whatever I'm supposed to call it was very cool and have recommended it to others (especially my gf/teammate who has been learning gui scripting very quickly and now is extrememely grateful since she has intellisense)...

In any case awesome tool... great site, the design is awesome... lol as I said on IRC (hopefully it doesn't come out wrong) the marketing bs is to a minimuim (have to have some anyways) and you get right to the features, love the pics you've added since I saw it too...

btw congrats on becoming an Associate! :)

Sam Bacsa   (Sep 23, 2005 at 20:59 GMT)
@Matthew: Thanks for the comments :) I think I'm going to be sticking with Codeweaver, although, I admit, TorqueWrench is a pretty awesome name :)

Thanks for the recommendations you've passed out, too. Spread the word, guys! :D
