Plugins Galore!

So I had this idea after I responded kindly to the last e-mail I received about adding a feature to TorqueDev (in this case, it was source control). I responded saying something along the lines of, "Sorry, but I can't implement everything. It's on my list, though. Thanks."

And it's true, I can't implement everything. So I had this idea.

I thought, "what if I expose every aspect of the program and make it available in a plugin interface so people can implement whatever they want."

So I am.

Currently I've implemented over two dozen functions and about a dozen events that get fired. The list is still expanding.

I think that once this aspect is finished, I can safely say that any feature one can dream of can be implemented -- from source control to even a built-in web browser if you wanted. It's all limited by what one can do with C# and a little clever logic.

Sounds awesome. I'm pretty excited about TorqueDev - definitely my IDE of choice atm, and very quick support responses from you on the forums (thanks for that T2D help).

I was just talking to a friend about TorqueDev and I said, "What would be cool is if someone would write an IDE that was more like an ice cream sundae that let you drag and drop the features that you liked onto it!" Sounds like you're heading that direction!
