I am so excited right now that I can barely contain myself. This link above is to a MASSIVE repository of actual MIT courses from under-graduate to gratuate. You can't earn the degree from taking these, well, you might get a head start toward one, but you will LEARN.

Here's the list of links to the types of courses as found on this site. Now, let me tell you, this isn't just some half ass job on these... it's the lectures in audio and video, it's class notes, it's the fricken CHALKBOARD notes, it's EVERYTHING but the teachers. I am seriously in some kind of nirvana right now going thru this website.

I could never afford to attend MIT. Yeah, in college I did very well, 3.9, but my high school was C- and D + due to undiagnosed ADHD. Yeah, some of us really have it. I'm 32, almost 33, and I can't really think about going back to school fulltime while I'm working fulltime developing games now, but I can now take the classes I have been dieing to take!

Now, before you decide that my excitement is just being hyper... take a look at these areas of study from the coolest place on the planet.

it's a nice start, but honestly their online open courseware curriculum is fairly lacking in a lot of aspects (ex: ebooks of the text?)

at least it has been this way for the last few years. whenever i check up on it it seems to be slightly better each time, but still fairly toothless from a "i want to learn about this subject in depth"

Tons of undergraduates in undergraduate program I'm current enrolled in know about that site. Mainly since it seems to be a source of problems for problem sets and questions we tend to find on our finals - and no I'm not going to MIT.

In fact, I can almost definitely say for a specific course it almost seemed like a direct copy with only slight modifications.

It just goes to show there's not a huge difference in the schools you go to.
A good school is a good school.

For me, things are comming along.

it's a bit harder to deal with the buracracy aspect of things in a 3rd world country, for example, I have been here for 3 months and still have government paperwork for the business "being processed".

for the actual tech side of things, i have 1 dev, and 2 more starting this comming monday. in the short term, they will be focusing on some enterprise software ideas, while I do prototyping with TX. I havent had a chance to work with TX for over 6 months, so now that i have the other responsibilities wrapping up, i'll probably be a bit more active on this site over the next comming weeks......

anyway, good to see you both Neo and Anton... i'll be focusing on isometric stuff, so i'll give you both a heads up with what fruits my endevors bring...

unless I missed it I didn't see any programming type courses on there anyone know of any solid sites for that? I've found plenty of basic sites that get you through adding keyboard and making simple non graphic programgs but not much more online for free
