They say it takes time to walk along a long, lonely road before you will reach your destination. I think I was just picked up by a hot gal in a ferrari! ...And we's flyin' baby! Got Torque?
Wow! TGE kicks ass soooo much!
Well, as it is, I'm currently delving deep into Torque on a never-ending quest to find my girlfriend, er... make a game.
After taking careful considerations to evaluate a safe project to play with, well, with me being quite fresh to Tscript, that will give me full opportunity to learn the ropes of the engine, I've chosen "13 Cemetery Dr." It will make use of many of the TGE's features while it can ideally be worked on using the FPS Starter Kit. There are some more specific features of my game that I'll want to code in as well, so I'll have lots of time to get used to programming and possibly even spew out some nice things for the GG community as well.
In any event, I've already spent too much time here today (I'm currently working on my first Milkshape3D model, looking great, too). I thought I might update my .plan for once :P
BTW - I'm currently looking for anyone with some skill in coding to help me get used to working in Torque (coding), as well as help get my project code started. I should become quite fluent with MS3D in the next week, so I might be able to help out with a model or something in return.
I'll be updating my progress as I go.
Thanks GG!

My main speed bump right now is figuring out how to get into the meat of the engine and get even miniscule things like terrain to work how we need it. If anyone can help me get on the right track, please do!
Untill then, I'll be sitting here figuring everything out on my own as usual so expect some progress in about 5 years. ;)
