A couple of months have past since my previous .plan, and I tought it was time to show some new stuff to the community.
So, what happened in the past couple of months? First of all I have a fulltime job now. I'm working for a multimedia development company as a programmer. So, good news...defenetly good news... but it wasn't good news for the game. I didn't have much time to work on it, but lately (about month ago), i started working on it again, and now i'm working on it more then i did before. Its looking better every week, and the plan is to release an open beta as soon as possible (well, you know how these things go, still a lot to do before we reach that milestone).

So what changed since the last .plan:
-artwork improved a lot (and we're still working hard on it, actually I'm redesigning the cars again)
-bug fixes, code changes/addons/... Most of the credit for this goes to Michael Mastracchio, who's still helping me out.
-first GUI and HUD changes were made
-decided to call it "Nitro" after all (named it after the student project i made last year.... the name was good, and we couldn't come up with a better one, so we decided to just re-use the name)
-...

What's planned for the coming month:
-Maybe create a website for this project to show some screenshots and dev news to people who are interestedd (altough I believe finishing the game is more important then showing of on a website)
-finish the GUI (in progress)
-clean up the code (get rid of most obvious bugs)
-...

Anyway here are some screenshots (you'll notice some buildings from Tim Aste's content pack (2)):

Sorry for the rather unstructured .plan, I'm not at home right now and i wrote this in a hurry. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask.

Cool, that's exactly what I've always wanted to do with tge and a racing style. Really reminds me of PowerSlide (which is what I wanted to accomplish). Great work mate!! Keep it up.

Thanks for the comments guys.
@Xavier: I'm indeed inspired by Powerslide and other similar games (altough I only played PowerSlide once or twice).

Damn, thats almost the same sort of thing ive been working on, although my cars and huds are different. I have to say yours looks mighty impressive compared to mine though. Good stuff, keep it up.
