I'm on my Mac Mini!
Yep, here I am browsing with Safari and posting a new .plan on my Mac! Next up is to get KOTM running on this little beast. I hope the 1.25 GHz version will be sufficient to run Torque well. Marble Blast Gold runs decent on it at 640 X 480 in 16 bit color mode. Heck it ran ok at 800 X 600 X 32 but it was a little jittery. Still seems to be better than my laptop though, and now I can do cross-platform development!
In addition to the Mac Mini I also picked up the Apple mouse and keyboard along with a router so I have a nice little network going ... was very easy to set up and both computers are online which is quite cool. I really wanted a Mac display but although I got the 6 months with no interest deal and a nice limit I decided to be efficient and use an old 15 inch Packard Bell PC monitor which is working out perfect. I don't even miss having a Mac display at the moment.
Man this this is cool! It's sitting amongst my game consoles and is actually smaller than my Dreamcast. It's also extremely quiet. I'm really impressed so far especially with the packaging and presentation. I'm kind of a packaging nut really. I keep every box for every game or system I can and I'll definitely be holding onto the Mini's.
Anyway, enough rambling ... now it's time to get KOTM running on this Mac!
