Ideas you're ashamed of...
... don't deny it we all have them. You get this game idea and you flesh it out but then you think about it and you think you might be nuts ... or you worry what people might think of you for thinking of it (even though everyone does the same thing). Well I've got that going on a bit. I had this perfectly great gameplay idea. Then I thought heh ... why not spice it up a little and give it some meaning ... so I did.
Now I've got this cockamamie story which is really cool ... and funny in a satirical way but after putting together a cool dev snapshot I felt I had better think it through a bit more before posting it. Now it's not quite as bad but think Team America for a second. As cool as that is (and heck even South Park) ... imagine it was you who thought of the satire behind it and then created it and put your name on it. Would there be any embarrassment about that?
Anyway ... as soon as I get a few people's approval I'll let this chicken fly. I'm used to producing titles that really impart no offense whatsoever (Miyamoto wannabe) and my latest idea breaks from that train of thought. The gameplay concept is fine alone and could be applied in numerous ways without offending a fly ... it's the story I've come up with to explain this nonsense and also to make a point that I'm skeptical of. I love it ... but I've scared myself muhahahaha! <shifty eyes> ... the precious ... no need to be scared of the precious ... <best Golumn voice>
OHHHKEEE ... time for sleep!

I mean 'real life' people who I just want to see if they'll get the point of the concept.
I can see how it sounded though...

And in terms of being a Miyamoto wannabee. You could do far worse.
