E3, Lore 1.0.2, Lions, tigers and bears, oh my!
Bleh, busy week. I hate Murphy and his damn law!
We FINALLY got the Lore 1.0.2 patch out this weekend, and the full builds should get moved to the GarageGames servers today. But, if you have Lore or just bought it, head over to our site (www.darkhorizons-lore.com) and grab the patch. There are patches for release and demo and you will need to be updated to 1.0.2 to play on our servers.
But cripes, what an ordeal :) Testing is very important, especially testing on a non development machine. We kept having issues with the Mac build having linked debug libs, so it would work fine on the dev machine, but crash with link errors on a non dev machine. Made for some slow progress and alot of rinse repeat of build, upload new build, download new build, test, see error. And since we're indie, that means we're doing all this via cable modems, and some of our upload speeds are crap ;)
But it's done, and its out, with some important fixes and some new content!
And now, we're all focused on getting to E3. I leave tomorrow morning. Some meetings, but, we're taking the oppurtunity to relax and celebrate as well. a good portion of the team will be there, and we're seeing some of our brothers in arms from 21-6, Dragonfly and GarageGames.
Will LA survive the Indie invasion?
