I'm scared.

I'm scared that my current project seems to be proceeding rather smoothly. Is it a bad sign? Shouldn't I be having a harder time of if? Maybe not, or maybe the hard times will arise when it's time to start generating content, rather than just working on design and scripting.

Only time will tell.. :)

i love your take on that... project going smoothly=bad :)
but if that were the case 100% of the time... im making the next best-seller-of-all-time :D

I usually find that projects go smoothly until around the 67% mark ;)

Basically, once subsystems start colliding you get boundary cases that matter and then if your design doc didn't force you to think those through at the beginning, you'll have to struggle to integrate everything perfectly.

In other words, many bugs don't come out of hiding until they reach critical mass under the refrigerator :)

Torque technology makes most things run smoothly. It's that 90% mark, 11th hour and all that, that will test your patience. Good luck so far!

yes.. i feel that way sometimes...

things are going extremely well that make me doubt they are well done..

but when you are in an important milestone or in an advanced amount of progress that trust and self securtiy makes the water filled party balloon explode infront of my face sooner or later .. mostly sooner! lol!!

and everything screws up .. hahaha until i figure out how to fix what i messed up with my lack of care and attention and excess of enthusiasm hehehe

Cheers

The fact that it's running smoothly isn't bad, but it can make things more frustrating when you do fun into a few hitches. Just remember the good times when, and if, you hit the bad!
