Blog post
Well, I've spent the past two days doing nothing but working in TGB. I've made quite a bit of progress with my modifications to the Whack-A-Mole demo. I've added:

* Five total levels
* Smooth level transitions
* Music
* Sound effects
* Main menu
* New GUI button art

I'm linking a movie that displays some of the things I've changed so far. I've recorded the movie with the game sounds including the music. There is still a ton more left to do, but I have knocked out a good chuck of my Overlord project list. Anyway, Here is the movie

Looks very cool Doug,

While messing around with the Whack-A-Mole tutorial game myself, I noticed that the game doesn't play very well without being able to actually smash the moles. One way I thought might be cool was if it played kind of like a cross between a wack-a-mole game and a memory game.

Something crazy and new, perhaps the moles spawn in a certain order then go back in the hole, then th eplayer gets their hammer and has to mash the now standing moles in the order they were originally shown in? Not sure how this would play at all, but you could probably find out pretty easily. Might be a truly fun little game to train your memory :)

Cheers,
-Justin
