I purchased and received the "3D Game Programming All In 1" book a couple of months ago and began working through the examples utilizing my purchased copy of TGE. I can say that I am impressed with the book so far. I had to finally stop myself and put the book down as I was spending hours with the book and computer. Needless to say my spouse and children felt the lack of attention I was paying them...

I am now trying to moderate. My goal is to get through the book in a reasonable period of time -- not bust my butt to get it done. I am eager to learn all I can about Torque script.

Be good to your family now, cause they probably won't want to hear about other good Torque books like "Advanced 3D Game Programming All in One" and others that will probably take up your time once you finish with your first one. Have fun!

Heheh...once I finished both books, that was when the _real_ time consuming work began =)

Just a note bud the book was written using tge 1.2 so when you get the full license none of the code you write will work with some overhaul.

Thanks all for the comments. It has been several months since I last picked up the book. Work got crazy and well, as it usually does, life happens... :)
