AI shenanigans! :)

Ooooh, man its hot! its been the hottest day of the year here. Which wouldnt be so bad, if it werent for the fact that its probably one of the most humid too!

But anyway, work continues apace.

So I've been coding the goal system for the torque AI botpackproject thingy :)

After messing with some of the pathing issues and annoying beffy to fixup some of them, I did a quick vid to describe the behaviour I was seeing.

So I thought.. hell, why not share :)

So for anyone interested here are a couple of movies showing the goal system in action. You see an AI player who is low on health, waiting for health to spawn.

Run for health(windows avi)
Run for health(divx version)

Here's an image for those who cant be bothered :)

Real nice there, Phil! Looks like your AI system is starting to really shape up there.

Phil, have you guys given any more tought on how to release this (free/commercial) ??

My project would grow soo much with something like this in it (can actually think of several other cool projects this would fit so nicely with), contributing with some $$ seems very natural considering all the time and effort you have put into this...

Well, I'm not sure where we are with our plans on it yet Jorgen. All I can say for sure, is that you WILL be able to use it. :) Other than that, well, we'll tell everone more once we get to a good usable state.
