Blog post
Easter holiday is almost over, work looms large on the horizon.
I expect it will be meeting-tastic for a while, as we go into the final stretch before summer holidays.
Summer will hopefully mean I'll get ever closer to shipping something again! that should be a very nice feeling.
I'm just doing a compile of torque so Ive got time to think about the days tasks.
1) Get the rest of the primitives into the testbed.. circles, rectangles, lines etc..
2) Get on with some AI state machine code.
3) Get on with adding the two mouse control options for my spaceships :)
DSL (soon to change name for positioning reasons) has taken a backseat for a month or so, mainly due to other projects. But I still am plugging away at it. Joysticks of all kinds work now, so we are almost at a playable milestone (needs a bit of work on the AI and the mouse flight modes to work, then I'll declare milestone 0.1a reached! :))
Then I'll be adding in a few other coolio things that start shaping the game.
I'm definitely heading for a playable game thats FUN!, I can feel the space sim part becoming fun, so after a few iterations it should be great! then comes the other bits..
Oooh.. compile sounds about done. So ttyl yawl!
