We here at Silhouette Studios have been busy working away on our major project, Tarien Flow.
Tarien Flow is a single player RPG with some fresh and great ideas that we are currently keeping quiet about :) It is built on a modified TGEA using AFX.
I have got two videos to show off a couple of features in TF - apologies for the low quality vids too, I was in a hurry :) the videos will start playing at the same time too so I suggest pausing one as it starts (again, time didnt let me address this!). Much of the content is still WIP and needs refinement but you should hopefully get the gist!
The first is showing off our dynamic Day Night cycle, you can see as the sun lowers we move from morning, noon, sunset, then to night (and back again!). We still need to tweak some values/timing/colours but its there and working. I should also point out its playing at 15x the normal speed so I can fit it in a small time for the video!

The second video is displaying a mini walkthrough of the town, and a small glimpse of our combat (the character is fighting a pair of bisons, its a little hard to see with the quality). The bisons then drop an item (Horns) that you collect! The green and red icons you can see are our NPC indicators that let you know you should be talking to them :)

Finally I have got one last thing to show. We have been lucky to find an extremely talented 2D Artist, below is one in an excellent series of work for completed for Tarien Flow, it is of the Port district in our village.(click the image for larger version)

Hope you enjoy, we will be showing more updates in the near future.

Silhouette Studios is also currently available for fee-for-service work in both coding and art, if you are interested in a quote be sure to get in contact!
