Silhouette Studios have been contracted over the past few weeks to develop art and code for a game for Breakthrough a non-profit human rights organization.
The game is being created to spark awareness on current deportation and immigration issues, to bring awareness of Human Rights issues. The game is about earning a Greencard in America, and the difficulties entailed in doing so. The object of the game is to learn how to navigate your character in the legal terrain to stay out of jail, or alternately to earn citizen points which will enable you to earn a greencard.
The final touches are being put on the HUD art, and the environments, and the game should be ready for release within the next few weeks. The last of the character models are being developed and put into the game.
Below you can see the BICE officer (Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement), he is an AI controlled character within the game that you need to avoid.

He can unfortunately can turn your character from this...

to this...
I will post further updates we move closer to a final release date!

Silhouette Studios is also currently available for fee-for-service work in both coding and art, if you are interested in a quote be sure to get in contact!

But its not your typical, lets shoot the aliens..
I have seen serious themed games before... but they are generally done in a satirical way.. (think flash games).
Anyway.. nuff ranting.. goodluck!
