Ok, I am not much of a blogger but guess I should join the band wagon :). I have just released a new Texture MEGA Pack with a ton of textures 11K plus! Although I am mainly a programmer I thought I would try my hand at some texture creation. So viola I generated a ton using a little scripting magic and some basic art skills. I hope you enjoy the results of my labor. I am offering them for FREE individually or for a small membership fee of $10.00 a month you can download all 1Gig of them plus new content as I finish. Your support is appreciated and will provide the means to create more cool content. Feel free to use them in your models and games, but not for resale as texture packs..

I have switched modes of late to focus more on Artwork and Generation of 3D content. I feel there is a real need for a ton of content for Indie game devs. So using the power of programming and Art Tools I hope to build a ton of generic objects for a low cost next.

Tools used: Texture Maker, Texture Maker Scripting, Python

More Content coming soon....The Plan is to make more Textures, 3D models, External Dev Tools to enable faster game building.

Happy XMAS!!

As a programmer, would you consider teaming up with IndieZen.org?

We're creating frameworks and plugins for a game development IDE. The basic IndieZen Developer Studio will be made available for free, but plugins won't necessarily be free.

We don't have anyone creating any texture plugins for user created or procedural textures yet.

If you'd like, I can help create the framework and help you create your plugin(s), but you'll be free to sell the plugins as you see fit.

Depending on the scope and quality of the plugin, I expect you could sell a procedural texture plugin for as much as $20 - $100.

Interested?

Tony, send me some details on what your trying to accomplish. You can reach me on my contact page on my site. I didn't see any info on the IDE project on your site. Thanks!
