Well another update for my little game demo.. :)

added teams and did another pass over of the level, adding some organics and defining the team areas..
next I will finish the buildings and fine tune the terrain. then add CTF mode and add the flags..

then I will start on level 2.. :)

Game Demo

still around 22 mbs..

and dont go too far into the blue team base.. the ground is sort of missing.. :P

and if you havent implemented the team resource then you need to use "m" key to choose sides..
I will be adding player select in the start menu soon, just havent gotten that far yet.. :)

anyways.. enjoy.. I will try to update this weekly.. :)

First off i wanna say that i really love this thing you're working on, it's great mood and it's cool to see someone making a somwhat playable demo for alot of people. I do have a few suggestions though.

With the gun, it would be awesome if the projectile emitter was actually at the muzzle point and not inside the gun. Fire randomly coming out of the middle of the gun doesn't make too much sense and the gun would look alot cooler when firing. Also i wouldn't make the damage radius on the explosions so big, the player shouldn't recieve damage if he or she shoots like 5 feet away. But if that's the way you want it that's fine.

Also i'm getting kind of slow framerates, it could be my computer but i'm just wondering if you're using any level of detail on your buildings/shapes. Setting it up so the further away you get from a building the less detail is in it could vastly improve your framerate.

Other than that I think it's really really cool and look forward to future updates.

the weapon is a precompiled dts I have no way to change the nodes.. :(

The buildings and shapes are still under development so no lods yet, soon I will work on 2-3 lods for each building.

I will work on the damge radius and projectile explosions, right now I am stuck trying to implement the Team Based Character Selection (Post Game Connect)

everthing working but the player actually spawning.. kind of a bummer..

Nice. I like the female pack model. Works well in the jungle environment.

Tom, try shaper: www.garagegames.com/blogs/9956/9489. Not sure about changing the nodes but it might be able to.
