My tuba is out there.
Finally, after more than a month in development I have released Front Porch Tuba. It's a sample collection for GigaStudio, geared towards non-orchestral music. It feels great to have it out there.

It has 1023 total samples, 31 samples for each of its 33 notes. And let me tell you, sometimes making samples is the MOST tedious experience possible. Cutting up the recordings into little bits, editing them to sound good in the sampler... really dreaded staring at that computer sometimes.

I created Front Porch Banjo early last year and swore it would be the last instrument I did. Well, for some reason I went ahead and did the tuba. Now, I swear that's my last sampled instrument. (of course, trombone, mandolin, ukelele, and conga might be nice...)

Speaking of words that start with t-u-b, TubeTwist is in beta and that's pretty exciting. The game seems to have really come together and I hope we can hammer out all the bugs.

The tuba's at www.frontporchband.com if you want to check it out.
