This is a new Gettingstarted.pdf that comes with Torque Game Engine.
The tutorial is written originally for TGE version 1.5
All credit is due to the original author(s).
The difference about this www.mediafire.com/?1tlgidlgx4n is that I clarified some parts of the tutorial that confused me when I first started with Torque.
Since I have seen many new people experiencing the same issue as I have, I thought i'd give a try at rewriting the tutorial.
I added more screenshots for directories, explained the "Why" in a couple of sections, and generally tried to dismiss the idea that TGE is a "Make Game" button sort of engine, as it would appear to some people that are just starting out with TGE.
I made every effort to keep the tutorial as close to the original as possible, but I removed the frustrating parts like run together paragraphs that contained a path to a file, and that annoying and intentional "Ooops" lets go back and fix it.. section when changing screen resolution after placing the Start button.
My hope is that some people will look it over, try it out, and let me know if I made a typo, confused the reader, or some other goof, and please let me know if you desire the tutorial to clarify other sections that I didn't include.
