Yeah... cheesey title given the name of my studio, I know. I promise to be more original in my games heh heh.

Well, this marks the first day of me taking my game design career seriously. Thing is... I don't want to work for a studio. I want to start my own. I know the business of game design, I've got enough friends in the field to where I'm getting a feel for the industry. I have my handy dandy subscription to GameDeveloper Magazine, and I'm keeping myself abreast of the latest technology (console, PC, and otherwise). Am I insane? Yeah, probably. Am I going to try anyway? Oh freakin' hells yes.

I've been working with my buddy Mark from the UK for almost five years, and we've made some headway on some 10 or so games before finally getting overwhelmed with the work load. Of course, our goals and aspirations were to make the games in full 3D with immersive worlds and awesome graphics, cool interfaces, and brilliant AI.

That's a great goal for a studio with 70+ members, but we're two guys who can barely program and excel at 2D art, not 3D.

Well, this time we're doing things a little differently. We're going to start a team. We've got an idea in our heads, we just need folks to help us get started.

This is the start of Dark Harbour Games. Keep your eyes on us... we're gonna be huge :D

I hope...

Aarpie!
