Dark Horizons Lore is well on the road to its Gold release after part of the dev team has returned from IGC.
I was very unfortunate to miss IGC this year, but family comes first, and I was much needed here at home.
Some of the things that were shown at IGC where just a taste of the very exciting things coming in Lore Gold. We are working on on spicing up lore with the Synapse Light pack, which for those of you who saw Lore at IGC got to see it newly lit with John Kabus's excellent work he has done with improving the lighting stream in TGE. I can't forget the first time I loaded a tweaked Lore map with the Synapse Lighting Pak, it was like starting a whole new game, adding to the richness of the enviroments like I didn't think was possible with TGE.
Another HUGH thing we are adding into the game is animated weapons geometry, nothing like seeing your gattlin guns spinning in your hud, or you autocannon recoiling from the shock of the fire it just laid down.
(little pick from our closed testing of Lore Gold)

What else to expect in Lore Gold? Well aside from alot of tweaks to gameplay, new weapons and content (maps and things that go BOOM!!!!) you can expect what has been a missing element from DH: Lore Early adopters, and Single Player campaign, powered by TorqueAI. This not only will allow us to introduce bots for team balancing, but is allowing us to provide more then just training mission as single player. Players will be able to battle through several exciting missions, with the goal of the campaign being the defense of the Federated States from the Eastern Confederation Invasion, with each level of the campaign seeing smarter and more agressive enemies.
Whats next for my .plan? How to mod DH: Lore, long awaited by our players, we will soon be releasing script info and model info.....
