Wee, created my account and downloading Torque X. Wish me luck! I'm teetering between the idea of an action based RPG and a turn based RPG.

I've been using TX a lot lately and really love it, especially the component system.

There are some bad things, mostly the fact that the portion of the community using it is either very small, or just do not like to frequent the forums, so it is very hard to get support since you do not very often see GG posting in there.

Also, the documentation on TX is quite slim. I had to fork out the extra cash to get the Pro version just so I could learn how to do different things, without support it was the only way I could find out what was available and how things worked.

But, all in all, I really love it.

I found the documentation for TorqueX to be very good. The forums aren't as lively as other XNA forums, but there are developers there willing to help. Plus, I see posts from GG staff all the time in there. But then, I read all the topics, too.

There's no need to get the Pro version unless you want to see how it works with XNA at a lower tier or extend the XNA interfaces.
