GID 12 - How to make an exploding ant soldier? o_O
As always, making art for a GID project is quite fun.
Check Tom .plan to learn more about this project: Antapocalypse Now.

Here are the few art I did for the project:

This is the ant soldier, semi military inspired.

I made a little update of www.tridinaut.com with some new pics. We are still available for contract work (interesting game ideas only).

Super Smash breakers is going well, here is a new pic:

It needs some perspective tweaks and a few more thing, but the global mood is here.

Hopefully next plan will contain new models and some sculptures too (a hobby).

The ant rocks. That guy looks like he has some personality!

I'd forgotten about the concepts, nice one. Perhaps Nauris can post the concepts he did too :)

Ant legs are attached to their Thoraces, not their abdomens. :)

Dude! How long did it take for you to do the concept art? Those are excellent.

lol.... Is that The Finger I see the Rocketeer throwing?

He somehow reminds me of Eric Cartman. "Screw you guys... I'm going home!!!"

Thx for comments.

@Mike: you tiny mini nitpicker! I'm almost sure ants doesn't wear an helmet and kevlar jacket too :-D
An ant abdomen is so small, you can almost say that lower part is still thorax.

! noone noticed until now o_O I forgot the antennae! I just saw that ...

@Jay: no idea, quite fast, it's not really polished. 1-2h (done mainly for fun and not real concept ^^)

@Burning: yes, that's exactly what he's doing :-D

Ermm... the Ant abdomen is generally the largest part of their body.... the Thorax is the middle segment, between the head and the abdomen :)
