Today after so much downplay I gave to Torque I Finally did some detailed searching of the site and found out with the engine and content you can purchase and even make yourself that Torque and Garage Games are the best suppliers right now to construct a near perfect MMO and or Game and I say near perfect because MMO's always come with there fair share of problems, but given the time and patience you could pull out some of the best looking games rivaling that of the Current Next-Gen system's.

Why are all indie developers so interested in MMO's?

"Why are all indie developers so interested in MMO's?"

Because most Indie's are teenagers that think only about the green dollar bills in their eyes when they hear $15/mo times 7000.000 players (WoW), that's why. xD

I'd have to say I completely disagree with you on this one. I also have to say I don't really understand where the original question is coming from. For every Indie I see talking about an MMOG, I see at least two or three dozen others talking about non-MMOGs. Maybe we'e all so used to non-MMOG talk that we don't really see the ratio properly?

Most Indie developers build what they are passionate about, no matter their age. It's not dollar bills in their eyes, it's passion. At Indie MMO Game Developers Conference I think I saw maybe one or two people who would qualify as being even close to a 'teenager.'

So the real question to Kevin and Nikhil is, what's wrong with wating to build an MMOG? It's not out of reach to anyone with the drive and passion to see it through?

hehe actually i would like to create an MMO but i know personally i don't have the experience i just put that up there to show that that is my main goal to make an MMO that will appeal to all games instead of to just a certain group and that i will listen to what players really want to keep them coming back to that particular game, but as of now i'm creating An RPG, because that genre gives you the freedom to get all of your wants as far as story lines, and character development, do please don't think i'm just a simple teen trying to get money, no..Most likely the MMO (when it is completed) will be F2P...so yes don't think i don't know what i am Doing, and thank you for your comments
