Changes
* Fixed a bug when cancelling the level screen
* Re-worked the highlight system, sometimes would leave some highlights active.
* Added more functionality to the help screens.
* You can view help from any level now, not just certain levels.
* Help button is yellow/flash first time a new feature is introduced.
* Can scroll back through all previous help screens
* Added some debug stuff to config file (performance checks)
* enabled 16bit graphic modes (640x480-1280x1024)
I am really interested in getting feedback from people that did not use the previous version.
Thanks
Sims

Flipper (v. 1.3b) looks great and I downloaded it using the download link from your site (http://www.simonoc.com/pages/design/games/flipper.htm).
I had some problems with the textures of the tiles as you can see in this screenshot.

I hope it's just anisolated problem, but let me know if you want me to test anything.
Best,
Patrick

- @ Simon: A few of us old SD fans are wondering where you're working now...we're just curious for no reason really. ;)
@RollerJesus... I would give it a day or three and then post here if you still care: http://www.celephais.net/board/view_thread.php?id=60148

RollerJesus: Ive got no idea about that screen corruption, I'm really new with this engine. I only tested the game with OpenGL not d3d. If you could email me your log file maybe that might help. My email address is at the bottom of my website.
eb: Wow, that is a long time ago, SD days. I am currently working for Crytek at the moment helping out with crysis things.
Shaderman: Im glad you liked it. Let me know if you get further into the game, Im curious about gameplay feedback for later levels.

1. I didn't remember at which level I stopped playing before so a "start with last level button" would be nice. Quick idea: if the game was ever played before and the player reached a level beyond level 1, a dialog box asking to start a new game (level 1) or go on with the last level could pop up when the "start" button was pressed.
2. Looks like a bug to me:

I assume the field 6/2 should be cleaned after moving to 5/3.

2. That is a game feature! hehe Special tiles don't affect other special tiles (except the button special tile, level 19+) they only affect the tile grid.
Order which affect things:
Button special tile > Special tile > Tiles
Unfortunately I could not explain all the features of the game on the tiny tutorial screen. I create a full web page listing all features of each tile in the game.
