- Today I manage the portfolio of games made for InstantAction.com The Garage Games Instant Action Fund is used to publish online games made by start-up indie developers as well as established pros. My team and I work with developers to bring to InstantAction.com creative games that bring people together, build community, and give you an opportunity to get involved.
Personal History: Past Sr. VP or VP and General Manager of development divisions for Electronic Arts, Sierra On-line, and Acclaim. Products shipped as GM include the MMP racing game Motor City On-Line and numerous hunting and fishing titles.
I joined the game business in 1989 as the photo and video director for Dynamix and later managed the art staff for games in the era of: A-10; Red Baron; FPS Football; Aces of the Pacific; Willy Beamish; and Betrayal at Krondor. Switching from art management to game design, I designed and produced or executive produced the Trophy Bass series of games and Trophy Rivers, and eventually took on the responsibilities of Sr. VP of Product Development and Marketing for Sierra Entertainment managing the production groups at Dynamix, Papyrus, Yosemite Entertainment, and Synergistic Software.
In 1998 I moved to Electronic Arts as executive producer for their new line of outdoor games and became the VP/GM of the EA-Seattle office. In 2003 I joined Acclaim Entertainment as VP/GM of their Austin office.
