- Summary:
- It's hard to imagine I've been doing this gig for so long. My first game, The Sword of Kadash, was published by Penguin Software in 1984. It became Dynamix's second published title following Damon Slye's cult classic Stellar Seven.
I attended the University of Oregon and finished with a triple major in Math, Physics, and Computer Science. Go Ducks! I attended the University of Washington where I received my MS in Physics. Go Huskies! (For those in the know, the Ducks and Huskies are the bitterest of rivals in the Northwest PAC10 Conference.)
I've known Jeff Tunnell since High School so...predictably...after my college was completed I went to work at JTP (Jeff Tunnell Productions--a small off-chute of Dynamix). As with the rest of the gaming industry, JTP was ultimately assimilated into Havas/Sierra/Dynamix. (Resistance is futile.)
I worked on numerous titles at Dynamix including Lionel Traintown, Starsiege, and The Incredible Toon Machine.
Currently I'm the Master Monster of Monster Studios a small but powerful group developing family oriented software without all the violence...not that I mind the FPSs...but really how many can the market support?
