- Summary:
- I've been working in the commercial and film industry since 1995 working on 3d animated special effects and character work. I am considered a generalist in this field with a broad range of experience combining artistic and technical abilities. I have been focusing on character pipeline and character setup as a mel scripting/python/C++ programmer and character t.d. while using maya and other proprietary tools. I worked at Digital Domain for several years and other Feature Film and Commercial Production houses. I am currently employed at Sony Pictures Imageworks. I most recently finished up work on a film called Monster House, a 3d feature scheduled for release sometime this year(2006). Other Feature films works include I-Robot, The Day After Tomorrow, Triple X, Dr. DooLittle 2, Reindeer Games, I'll be home for Xmas, and some Indies. I worked on a 3d-stereoscopic ride film for LegolLand where I acted as Director of Photography as well as character and vehicle rigging/simulations. I also worked on a cinematic trailer for NCSoft's Guild Wars, where I developed their cinematics character pipeline. I have worked as a 3d effects artist, working with particles, dynamics and fluids as well as crowd and flocking ai and simulations. A received a couple gold Cleos for a Nike commercial I worked on for David Fincher for Best Animation and Best Visual Effects. I hope to apply some of the skills I've acquired in this field toward my own independent game development part-time working on the side until I have enough skills developed to perhaps shift my focus to full-time development.
