- Have a great deal of experience as a system/network administrator.
Have been working on my coding skills in C++ for about 3-4 years, and am currently attending school to get my BS in CS. Other languages known are PHP, Python, VB, JavaScript, VBScript. At one point knew a bit about UnrealScript, but it's been a while.
Also have 11 years experience as an illustrator ( comic/anime mainly ), but again all personal passion and little OJT. Other art skills include oil painting, pencil, charcoal, graphic design.
In the digital art world, I have experience with Photoshop, PSP, and GIMP. Also have a degree in 3D/2D animation along with 2 years experience working in my own time in 3D modeling and animation. All of my real 3D experience is with 3DS Max/gmax.
Game related, I have been into RPG's since the days of AD&D... first edition. Spent lots of time with many different game systems, and even wrote two rules systems of my own. Also spent a LOT of time as DM/GM.
Have been in a LOT of betas for MMORPG's too. ( Shadowbane, AC2, Planetside, etc...)
Really I just have a passion for fantasy/sci-fi and games. Plus game dev seems to bring my love of tech and art together.
I've been studying a lot about game design/developement for the past few years ( off and on ).
