- I started programming about 10 years ago, in QBasic and some dabbling in K&R C (all I could get ahold of at the time). I dropped programming about 6 years ago, and now am trying to pick it back up again.
I know enough C, C++, and Java code to (generally) follow an execution path, but I can't program my way out of a cardboard box (yet!).
Object-oriented programming has really thrown me a loop (no pun intended), so it's really taking me a while to get back up to speed.
I am currently going to college (sophomore) to become a mining engineer (they need programmers badly in this field, or at least people who can interface mining needs and programming requirements).
