- Summary:
- I have always wanted to make my own games for a long time. I have played around with Darkbasic but even tho the keyword was easy to catch on in an instance it was still limited. There was no level editor that came with it and then the one that came out was as much as buying the DarkBasic program.:( So I tested out the demo of Gamestudio. Then I notice that by looking at their version chart that it really not friendly to indie developers. For all the features that I wanted and expected I would have to have $900 to dish out. So I thought of just buying the commercial version for 200 but then I looked and notice that 100 of the dollars I put into the commercial was lost when I upgraded. Then I really felt I would get ripped off. Now I have come here in hope that I have found the treasure that I have always been looking for.
I was attending Art Institute of Washington for a year. I have been doing contract jobs of logo design for a few small businesses and I recently started a store where I sell outfits for Poser models. From time to time I sketch when I find the time.
