Summary:
Currently working in the semiconductor industry as a mixed-signal design automation engineer where I take EDA tools (Cadence, Mentor, Synopsys) and make them actually usable for design engineers. I mainly use Perl and the tool's built-in languages (Skill (lisp), Ample, TCL, etc.) My main skills from this job are automating the interaction of the tools and configuring the many aspects of the tools to make them useful. I also write documentation and user training materials for these tools and processes.

Personally, I live on the computer and always have. I have experience with Windows, OS X, FreeBSD, Linux, DOS, and OS/2. Lots of experience with all sorts of apps on these platforms. I have been gaming since day one (and even collect, restore and repair classic arcade machines and pinball machines). I design small microcontroller gizmos and perform various other nerdly activities for hobbies. You can check www.micsaund.com for more about these nerdly subjects.
