i\'ve spent the last several years working as a contractor in support of the us navy. we do signal analysis, algorithm design, a lot of hand waiving and singular matrix inversion. i\'m the only software guy on our team, all others are strict mathematicians/theorists. the theorists are quick to forget the engineering side of things. at the end of the day, we need something that gets the job done. i want to be the one that makes it happen.

i like technical drawing. graphing paper and mechanical pencils are my preferred means of communication/debate.

art and salesmanship continue to be my weak points.
