Summary:
My first step into coding came in 2000 when I started learning Flash Actionscript. In the process of making the 2D space shooter Solar Asylum, I mastered the language and in 2002 moved onto bigger and better things. I started learning c++ in summer 2002 and that winter started toying around with DirectX. My first completed DirectX project was a 3D chess game that was basically a virtual board (no animations - just movement). Initially, I was going to try to write a basic 3D game engine myself during which I learned a lot about graphics rendering, 3D math, and general game design. My goal was to recreate my Flash game Solar Asylum in 3D. Me and my genius writer friend (Dylan Romero) have been developing the story for it (and other games) since I started learning Flash. I stumbled upon Torque earlier this year (2004) and have been learning the intracacies of the engine since.

Aside from game related coding, I have learned several other languages while pursuing a BS in Computer Science.
