Summary:
Designed and published pen 'n' paper frgp modules back in the mid-1970's - in an actual garage - under the house name "Martian Game Modules". Amateur programmer in Basic, V-B, C++. Horridly awful artist, but can turn out something resembling game art using "MilkShape" with 2D india ink drawings to work from. Started playing games with board games from Avalon Hill, SSI, SPI, GDW, G/RD, etc. Started with "D&D" 1st Ed., "Chivalry & Sorcery", etc; long-time (20 years) game/dungeon-mastering experience. Miniature games in nearly every historical era for a long time. Online in early '80's with "Gemstone 3", "Battletech", "Airwarrior I- III", etc. Tried the MMORPG's, got bored (or PK'd too often). WW2 Online, etc. Read and/or played and/or modified nearly every rules set before online gaming became the rage.

U.S. Army 14 years active, 7 years Reserves, currently mobilized.
Court reporter, military & civilian 19 years.
Attorney 9 years, now retired.
Won't be fully retired for at least another year and a half - maybe two years - maybe three, depending on how long this mobilization lasts; can't be longer than January, 2007, when I turn 60.

Looking to begin indie game design, development, & publication as an income supplement in retirement and to keep my brain from rotting.
