I started programming in high school and have never stopped. Now an 18 year veteran of programming anything from assembler on a NES console to process control on a nuclear waste processing system. If it can be programmed I may have tried to program it!
One of the main reasons I started programming was to make games. Funny enough I went to college to learn to program which launched a very successful electronic engineering career.
Now I am a freelance programmer.

C,C++,Python,PHP,MySQL,XML/XSLT,and much more...
I can pick apart and determine how a program or piece of hardware functions. This is a result of years of tinkering with hardware and software and is an acquired skill. If it looks like I am talented it is only a partial truth.
